The Green Bay Packers consume most of thoughts from August through February and during the NFL Draft. Lambeau Field is the greatest place on Earth, bar none. Anyone who has uttered an unkind word about it, is a hater and has never been to a game there.
Reggie White has to be my favorite Packer of All-time. White brought legitimacy to the Packer's organization and made the team instant contenders upon his arrival. It is a shame that he came back for that season in Carolina, did the Packers not want him back? Did he need the money? What did he have left to prove? The other real shame involving the Minister of Defense was the fact that Bruce Smith played 60 years past his prime to eclipse his career sack record. Emmit Smith thinks that Smith played too long to set career records.Runner ups: Charles Woodson, LeRoy Butler, Seneca McMillan
My least favorite Packer of All-time is Ryan Longwell. Longwell was without a doubt the most overrated Packer during his tenure. Drawing undeserved admiration from fans. The guy couldn't kick in the cold. Longwell never kicked a kickoff in the end zone. If a field goal was over 40 yards and on the left-hash it was pretty much an automatic miss and he never showed he could kick field goals over 50 yards until his last year, which was his only good season. Then he signed for the Vikings and complained that Green Bay didn't have any good restaurants... Liberace Gay.
Runner ups: Ahmad Carrol, Jarret Bush, Scott Frost
Milwaukee Brewers usually keep my interest from the beginning of Spring Training until Packers Training Camp kicks off. For those of you who haven't attended a game at Miller Park, it is fantastic and very fan friendly. I fondly remember attending relevant games at County Stadium in 1992 when they went 92-70 only to miss the playoffs. In 2008, I attended 11 victories, highlighted by their only playoff victory in the last 25 years. I am more excited for the start of this season than I ever have. The teams acquisition of former Cy Young winner Zach Grienke catapults them into instant contender status. Favorite Brewers: Robin, Molitor, Hebrew Hammer, CC Sabathia Least Favorite Brewers: Anyone who played on the team in 2002, Anyone who ever managed the team, Ben Sheets.
Wisconsin Badgers football and basketball are near and dear to my heart as well. No real good stories involving either program other than they love to cause heartbreak at seemingly every turn!

This may come as a surprise to some people, but about a year ago I decided to become a fan of an English Premier League club. While researching which team to cheer for I had a few requirements: Not one of the Big Four clubs(Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, or Arsenal), Not in any real danger of being relegated(Every year the bottom 3 teams of 20 are expelled to play in the lower division for at least a year), and preferably the team had Americans on it. Around this time Landon Donovan signed a deal to play with Everton, who already featured US goalkeeper Tim Howard, for 10 weeks it made my choice easy. After a year of being a fan of the Blues, I can safely say that I wish one of the major American sports would adopt a relegation system.
I cannot say that I will go out of my way to cheer for any other team. I am either indifferent to any local teams that I failed to mention or I dislike them. These will be the 5 teams I will usually talk about, probably a little too much, and you will get to know my intimate feelings towards them in the near future.
